Since the 1995 recognition by the HMGS National Board of Directors (NBOD), military and international HMGS members "at large" (those that were not affiliated with one of the regional HMGS chapters) have been recognized as HMGS members of Gamers International ("GI's"). GI is not a separate HMGS Chapter, but a subgroup maximizing service-member participation in the chapters nearest where they are stationed. For those not near a chapter, HMGS/MidSouth will provide world-wide access to HMGS and any gaining chapters. All HMGS chapters receive the GI Newsletter (After Action Review) for articles to include in their individual chapter's newsletters.
